AFI Brasov


AFI Europe Romania has completed the acquisition of the 40,000 sqm plot in the City Center of Brasov, where it currently develops a Mixed–Use project that includes AFI Brasov Shopping Mall and AFI Offices Brasov Class A office Project. The shopping mall will offer a total gross leasable area of 45,000 SQM GLA.

The mall will have one main entrance from the main boulevard of the City (boulevard 15 November) and a second entrance near the hypermarket store entering from the main street (Strada Nicolae Titulescu) both which are connected by two main corridors and mainly spreads on two retail levels. 
The ground floor will be anchored by the hypermarket and fashion tenants. First floor will host retail shops, the fast food and restaurant area and a large leisure balcony viewing the Carpathian Mountains used for events, family and touristic activities. The 3rd floor will host the Cinema, Gym and Entertainment.

Mix of Tenants – Carrefour Hypermarket of 6,500 sqm, top international fashion brands such as: Inditex, Collective, LPP, H&M, CCC, Deichmann, US Polo, Tommy, etc., Entertainment (Cinema, MaxFun, Gym), Sports (Hervis, intersport), Electronics (Flanco, Altex). Kids shops (Nuriel, Lego,Smyk), Fast food & Coffee (Mac, KFC, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Paul. Gloria Jeans and service shops (banks, cellular, etc).
Adjacent and integrated into the mall, two “Class A” office buildings are planned to be developed with a total leasable area of approx. 25,000 sqm GLA. 
Green Building – the Project is aimed to be LEED Gold Certified.

Population - inhabited by over 250,000 people and with surrounding towns reaching over 400,000 inhabitants, the 7th most populated City in Romania and considered as one of the 5 big cities.


Perfectly located in the City Center and 1.5 km from the historic and touristic Old City, the site’s location is part of the main square of the City (a wide 5 lane one way boulevard) connecting from the main boulevard leading from the Old City (the main tourist and local attraction in the City) to all parts of the city and the exit towards Bucharest.

Visibility is exceptional due to its location; all cars and buses passing through this main intersection are exposed to the shopping mall and Public transportation stations are located in front of the project.
