AFI Europe launched a special membership discount card for the benefit of the employees of the companies that operate in the AFI Park office project.
Tenants in AFI Park receive special discounts in the most successful shopping mall AFI Cotroceni, through a dedicated membership card, “AFI Park Club”, which offers benefits and discounts in the food court, shopping and entertainment.
“AFI Europe commenced an integrated program to share the success and opportunities in both shopping malls and office buildings to enhance the experience of all of our clients and tenants coming to our projects. Thus among many benefits, we have developed ‘AFI Park Club’, a special loyalty card, available only for the employees of the companies in AFI Park, and applied only in the AFI shopping malls. The card responds to the employees’ needs for lunch, shopping and entertainment. They receive discounts to most of the restaurants in AFI Cotroceni, but also in the entertainment, shopping and leisure activities such the cinema, karting, bowling etc.”, said David Hay, CEO AFI Europe Romania.

The employees can benefit of significant discounts which are available in the food court for restaurants such as Al Wady, KFC, Pizza Dominium, Nord See or Wu Xing, and cafes, among which Zodiac Café, Segafredo, Gloria Jeans or Filicori. The employees have a special discount to the cinema, karting, laser tag, bowling gym and for the car wash.
AFI Park is comprised of five office buildings, out of which the first three have their office spaces 100% leased, while the last two are currently under construction.
The third building, AFI Park 3, has recently been completed and is fully leased to Endava Romania and TELUS International. The construction of AFI Park 3 (12,200 sqm GLA) was completed in January 2015, represented a total investment of over EUR 20 million.
AFI Park 2 is entirely occupied by Electronic Arts, and AFI Park 1 is fully leased to companies such as Microchip, Cameron and Sparkware Technologies.
AFI Park 1 and AFI Park 2 are the first office buildings in Romania to obtain the LEED Gold Core & Shell Certification. The additional office buildings in AFI Park are in process of being certified as LEED Gold.
Currently, AFI Europe Romania is developing AFI Park 4&5, the 4th phase of the award winning office project, which will be finalized in Q4 2015. AFI Park 4&5 is offering a floor plate of approximately 3,000 sqm to respond to the needs of large open space for IT&C and BPO companies. The building will total 32,000 sqm of Class A leasable area (GLA) spread over 12 floors, served by 2 underground parking levels with 300 spaces. The ground floor will offer retail spaces, designed to provide tenants with services and amenities in addition to the services provided by the shopping mall. In this matter, the 12th floor will host a coffee shop terrace for the benefit of the future tenants.
AFI Park consists of 5 Class A office buildings, with a total gross leasable area of 70,000 sqm GLA, all are linked to AFI Cotroceni (81,000 sqm GLA). Together, the two projects (151,000 sqm GLA) feature the largest complex of retail and business in Romania and one of the largest in the CEE region.
