AFI Europe Romania To Open Mall In Ploiesti In October; Occupancy Rate Currently At 90%

Real estate developer AFI Europe Romania will open a 30,000-square meter shopping center in Ploiesti on October 3 and the mall is currently 90% rented.

Tenants include Koton, Smyk, Vicina, Hello Kitty, Sabon, Carturesti, Jack and Jones and Braiconf.

AFI has recently signed a rental contract for 2,200 square meters with Moving, a fitness center network present in Otopeni, Iasi and Cluj.

The chopping center’s restaurant area is rented entirely. KFC, McDonald’s, El Bacha Restaurant, Pizza Dominium and Thang Long Vietnamese food are among the tenants.

The mall will also include a skating rink and a cinema.

AFI Europe develops and administers commercial and residential projects in Romania, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany and Latvia.

The company is present in Romania since 2005, where it developed AFI Cotroceni and office building AFI Park 1, which has an occupancy rate of 96%. AFI Europe will also develop shopping centers AFI Arad and a new office tower, AFI Park 2.
