Retailers hosted by AFI Cotroceni Bucharest registered sales of EUR201.5 million last year, up 10.8% from EUR181.8 million in 2011, the shopping center said in a press release Thursday.
Rental revenues amounted to EUR23.8 million in 2011.
The shopping center’s rental income exceeded EUR19 million in the first nine months of 2012, up 10% on the year.
Over the past year, several retailers opened stores in AFI Cotroceni, including Vodafone, Bamboo, Timeout, Colins, Carpisa, Yokko, BSB, Karen Millen, Triumph, TUI, Filicori and Profi Hair Shop. The mall’s occupancy rate is about 97%.
AFI Cotroceni, owned by AFI Europe, has a lettable area of 80,000 square meters and was opened in November 2009, following an investment of over EUR300 million. The value of the shopping center is currently estimated at EUR363 million.
Last year, AFI Cotroceni had over 19 million visitors.
